Meet Our Physiotherapist

Meet our Physiotherapist

Sarah Macdonald is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

After graduating from the University of Salford in 2007, Sarah has worked with adults with a range of neurological conditions, and in a variety of settings in the NHS; from intensive care, rehabilitation wards and, for the past 8 years, within the community.

This range of experience has enabled Sarah to develop advanced physiotherapy skills in the management of neurological conditions.  Sarah has completed training in the Bobath Concept and uses the principles within her treatment.  She also uses other evidence-based treatment methods such as repetitive task practice, constraint-induced movement therapy, progressive strength training and vestibular rehabilitation to get the best outcomes for her patients.

Sarah is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR).

“I find my role very rewarding. I love to help people achieve what is important to them, as well as helping them to develop their own skills for managing their condition.”
